Working As A Freelancer From Any Location With Any Job

$

Are you interested in working as a freelancer without travelling around to your potential job site? It’s now possible to work as freelancer without being at the location at all. Even as a plumber or as a fitness coach. But how does it work and what can you do to become a ‘remote’ freelancer? All your questions will be answered in this article.

How does remote freelancing work?

While you as an expert in your field might know just about everything there is to know about the jobs in your field of work, a regular person doing DIY work would not know. DIY people are usually very handy, but even the most amazing DIY handyman could find themselves stumped sometimes. When that happens, it would be great if that person could simply call an expert in order to get some advice to get the job done.

Call The One is a concept that makes it possible for any expert in any field to sign up and create a profile. Once your profile is created you create the same profile on your website by embedding a simple code on your website. This means that people searching on the website of Call The One will be able to find your details, but people visiting your website will also find them.

But what’s in it for me?

Not only do you gain a lot of brand awareness by profiling yourself on another website, and as an expert nonetheless. While the first minute of any call is free for the caller any minute after that can be at any rate you feel is fair for your expertise. This way, if any potential client calls, they won’t pay for anything if they decide your expertise is not needed or wanted. This makes it fair for every party.

Top Tips for Taking Your Dog on a Run with You

$

Going for a run with your dog can make the process of exercise a lot more fun and easy. They say that having company during your exercise routine can not only motivate you to work harder, but it can also make it easier as well. Having your pet with you as you undergo your run will help to keep you alert to their wants and needs, and so you will recognise yours as well. The company of having your dog with you will both motivate you when you are running while strengthening the bond between you and your pawed friend. Plus both you and your dog will reap the physical and health related benefits of going on a run. With the positives in mind we have put together a few hints and tips to consider when taking your dog for a run with you!

Lead or no lead?

One of the main things that you will need to consider is whether or not you will be taking your dog on a lead. All dogs are completely different, and it will be up to you as a dog owner to deem whether or not your fluffy little friend needs a lead. The motto here is ‘better be safe than sorry’! If you are unsure about whether your pet will be compliant during your run then it’s probably best to keep them on a lead to begin with. A good way to ease them into the system is by keeping them on a lead for the first week of your running and then go without the lead after that (providing that they have not been pulling!) No one wants to spend their entire run running after their dog or waiting for them to catch up!

Make sure that you are comfortable

Making sure that you are comfortable running is really important when running with your dog. Make sure that you are used to your route, have the right running gear and are both prepared and fit enough to complete your route. Our pets have a way of sensing when we are not enjoying something. If you are on your run with your pet and your trainers are hurting you then you will have to turn around and come back. This could risk interrupting your routine while distressing your little buddy. Make sure you are well prepared and have the right gear. You can get hold of some great voucher codes from Runners Need to get your running gear cheaper.

Where are you running?

Always make sure that you consider where it is that you will be running. If you are running somewhere particularly dangerous then make sure to really think about whether you should take your dog with you. Here are a few things that you should consider when taking your dog for a run with you:

  • Terrain: If you are heading somewhere with rough terrain consider your dogs paws and think about taking more breaks. You could try to run slower or you could give your dog a day off all together. Remember that things like broken glass and sharp rocks can be really hazardous for your dog.
  • Weather conditions: Bad weather conditions such as heavy snow or thunder and lightning can cause your dog to panic. Make sure you know that your dog will be okay in these conditions. A lot of pets have an aversion to thunder so it is probably best to let them feel comfortable at home rather than dragging them out when they don’t want too. Similarly if you have a very small dog, heavy or thick snow can be very daunting for them. Always consider your dogs reaction to particular weather conditions!
  • Temperature: If it is a particularly hot day then you may find that your pet will be struggling a bit. Be sure to let your pet rest in particularly hot weather!

Stick to a routine with your dog

Keeping your dog in a routine is a really important aspect in training them to run with you. Dogs are really good at functioning in a routine, much like humans are. You will find that your poochy pal will learn to run at pace with you a lot quicker if you take them for a run at the same time everyday. There really is power in routine!

Treat them

Make sure that you treat your dog for good behaviour after a run. Positive reinforcement is a great way to help emphasize good behaviour in your dog. Plus they definitely deserve a treat after accompanying you!

Keep your eye on them

Make sure you keep an eye of your fluffy friend. Unlike humans, dogs cannot vocally communicate with you when they are feeling ill, exhausted or upset. Make sure you watch your dog for little cues. If they are slowing down, panting a lot or if they stop altogether then you know that they will need a break. This is especially an important thing to look out for with older dogs who may not be used to doing such an intense amount of exercise.

Stay hydrated together

Make sure that both you and your dog stay hydrated. Remembering to drink water is easy for you, but your dog can’t tell you when they are feeling thirsty. Everytime that you take a sip of water, consider giving your dog some as well. If you are thirsty after a run then they probably are as well. Stay hydrated together and avoid the possibility of dehydration!

There are plenty of things that we need to reflect on when taking our dogs for a run with us. These include whether or not to take a lead, making sure that you are comfortable and thinking about weather, terrain and temperature. But further than this, we also need to implement the benefits of a routine, the use of treats, the need to keep an eye on them and the imperative nature of staying hydrated. And let’s not forget to make use of online voucher codes and discounts on running gear! So make sure you put a plan in place that will work for both you and your dog. And may you both begin to enjoy the routine of companioned exercise!

6 Top Tips To Help You Get Fit And Get In Shape Before Spring

Getting in shape is easier than you think. From getting enough sleep to finding an exercise buddy, these tips will help you get fitter, stronger and healthier.

It may be cold and dark outside at the moment, but the new year will be here before we know it, and spring will be hot on its heels. If you want to get in shape for spring and summer, now is the time to start making the changes to your lifestyle that will help you to get results.

A London fitness coach shares his top tips for getting fit and shaping up for the spring.

Sign up for an event

Signing up for a sporting event or race can be a really effective way of motivating yourself to get off the couch and exercise – whether it’s a 5k run, a marathon or an obstacle race such as Tough Mudder. Training for a specific event will enable you to set clear goals, which will make it easier to plan (and complete!) your workouts, while fundraising for a charity can give you an extra impetus to train hard and achieve the goals you have set for yourself. The sense of accomplishment you feel when you complete the race can also have a really positive impact on your mental wellbeing and self-confidence.

Get your beauty sleep

You’ll be pleased to hear that getting in shape isn’t all about hitting the gym or working up a sweat. Getting a good night’s sleep is essential if you want to burn fat and build muscle – it also helps to reduce those cravings for sugary or fatty foods that can undo all your hard work. For best results, try to aim for between seven and nine hours of quality sleep each night.

Find an exercise buddy

If you find it difficult to motivate yourself to exercise, you might want to find yourself an exercise buddy – it’s much harder to skip a training session if you know you’ll be letting down a friend. As well as making it easier to get up for those early morning runs, exercising with a friend will encourage you to push your limits and, it’s simply more fun. If you don’t have a natural exercise partner, why not join a running club, or sign up for a team sport, such as netball, football or hockey? As well as getting in shape, you’ll have fun, learn a new skill, and make new friends to boot.

Build activity into your routine

Many people cite a lack of time as the main reason for not getting enough exercise. If this sounds like you, try to increase your overall activity level and build short periods of exercise into your day. This could include taking the stairs instead of the lift, walking to shops instead of driving, or simply doing some stomach crunches as you watch The Apprentice.  If you live near the coast, countryside or even a nice park, why not grab your family or a couple of friends and head out for a long, leisurely weekend stroll? Exercising outdoors is proven to be good for both your physical and mental health, so you’ll get a double-whammy of benefits.

Hire a trainer

To really give your fitness regime a boost, you might want to consider booking some sessions with a personal trainer. They will be able to help you define and set your goals, and provide you with a personalised exercise plan that will enable you to achieve your fitness objectives. A trainer can also provide a much-needed burst of motivation when your energy is flagging.

Follow a healthy diet

Whatever exercise regime you decide to follow, don’t forget to pay attention to the food you ae eating. This doesn’t mean following a strict diet or starving yourself, however. Instead of counting carbs or calories, focus on fuelling your body with nutritious, unprocessed foods, such as fresh fruit and vegetables, whole grains, and healthy proteins, which are essential for muscle recovery.

Getting in shape for spring needn’t be a daunting, insurmountable task. By making small lifestyle changes and employing some motivation tricks, you’ll find it surprisingly easy to get fitter and healthier in plenty of time for the new season.

We all want to stay warm and toasty during the winter months, and a reindeer hide rug will enable you to do just that, especially when used as a cosy throw or blanket.

Natural appeal

Made from natural material, a reindeer hide rug has an exquisite finish and organic appeal that you just don’t get with synthetic alternatives. And when you’re walking on, or wrapped up in, a reindeer hide rug you can really notice the difference. What’s more, natural and tactile materials are really on trend at the moment, and can help add the perfect finishing touch to your home.

Statement piece

A real reindeer rug is undoubtedly a statement piece of home furnishing. Made from authentic reindeer hides, each rug is truly one-of-a-kind, creating a great conversation starter and point of interest for any visitors to your home. Buying a reindeer rug can instantly transform your home, adding style, comfort and luxury. It’s a great addition to any living space and will help to elevate your interior design to the next level – both at Christmas and all year round.

Versatility

Reindeer rugs are really versatile and can be used in practically any room in the house. They can be used as a floor covering, as a striking centrepiece, hanging from a wall, or draped over your furniture – they are even durable enough to be used outside, perfect if you want to create a cosy, winter garden. The hides themselves can vary in hue, from pure white and light cream through to deep chocolate brown and smoky grey, and they also come in a range of sizes – so you’re sure to find a piece that fits your colour scheme and room dimensions.

Made to last

Reindeer rugs are pretty durable, with colours that remain fresh and rich for many years, making them a cost-effective design option. Many hides also undergo a silicon treatment, which enhances their natural properties and ensures that they are well-protected from all elements. Cleaning your rug is a fairly simple process – simply shaking it out, and giving the occasional vacuum on a low setting should be all you need to keep your reindeer rug looking great.

Reindeer rugs are pretty easy to care for, but to keep your rug looking its best, it will need a little maintenance now and then. To keep the leather moist and stop it from drying out, give the back of your reindeer rug a very light misting of water once every six months, being careful not to soak the leather.

A reindeer hide rug can offer the perfect finishing touch to your Christmas decorations and, with just a little TLC, your reindeer rug will keep you warm and comfortable for many Christmases to come.

The Dreaded Vegan Questions

$

I’ve been a vegan for over a decade now and it’s amazing the reaction people have when you talk to them about it.

There’s clearly been a trend for people joining the ‘club’ and I’m never sure if this is a good thing or not.

It’s brilliant to be able to walk into a restaurant and to be able to pick from a marked selection on the menu. To have more than one choice out of the thirty, has become a real treat. I used to walk in to any restaurant, knowing that I was going to have a stuffed pepper or the mushroom risotto.

Then you get the questions from the waiters or your new friends. They want to know why you’ve chosen to jump on the bandwagon and become a vegan. So you have to explain that you made the choice over ten years ago and that life has been better because of it. No matter how many times I tell the story, I will always get the same response; but don’t you just want a bacon sandwich?

The added volumes of sports stars who have adopted the plant-based diet, is really helping to promote the diet in terms of it’s health benefits. Yet somehow people still think that you can’t get all the vitamins and nutrients you need purely from plants. So I make them look at me. To look at the size of my body and then to tell me I’m suffering. I happen to be a fifteen-stone, six foot two inch, lump of a man. If you saw me on a rugby pitch, I would fit right in. I am definitely not going without.

But then you get the dreaded questions about cooking your food. I’ve never been fussy about my peppers being cooked on the same grill as a steak. I’ve never seen how it would affect me. But that is me and my diet.

I know a lot of vegans, who have a dietary need to avoid certain types of food, and they head to the restaurants where they know the chefs wear disposable nitrate gloves to handle meat, then change the gloves to handle the vegetables. They do this because it prevents cross-contamination. My friends chose these restaurants because they know they will be safe eating in them.

As a vegan, I’ve become very used to having to answer questions. I have also got a standard answer for all these questions, which tries to move the conversation on to other things. Yet somehow, people are interesting in what I eat.

I suppose that I should take it as a compliment. I’m not your typical vegan, in all honesty, I’m not your normal anything, but I am honest. There are downsides, mainly the lack of bacon sandwiches, but these are hugely outweighed by the hundreds of upsides and the knowledge of what my diet is doing for the planet as a whole.

So please feel free to ask me, but be ready for a long and full answer.

A Weekend In Birmingham

I’ve taken to booking long weekends away from work at the end of last year. It all came about pretty naturally, I had three days of holiday left to use and I had the whole of Christmas already booked off.

With nothing I needed to spend these days on, I opted to split them over three consecutive Fridays and go off to explore a few different places. It quickly became apparent that I had made the right choices.
By the time I was heading out for my third weekend of a city-break, I knew exactly what I wanted to do in Birmingham. There were the obvious options, Cadbury World, the Bullring, the Sea Life Centre or even just heading to the museum. Yet with so much experience already, I knew that I was going to be heading to somewhere else.

Friday nights always come with a pub crawl. Birmingham doesn’t disappoint on the pub front. There’s lots of places to go which have a tonne of character and are untroubled by the tourists. They are perfect to make sure that you wake up with a vast collection of memories and another chance to perfect your own personal hangover cure.

By the time I wake up on a Saturday afternoon, there’s only just enough time to head over to one of Birmingham’s most under-rated attractions. I found it last year when I happened to be in the area looking for somewhere to take the new boyfriend and saw an advert in the local paper.

Back then it was all about a visit to see the lanterns at Christmas. The Botanical Gardens would light up over night with characteristic impressions and models of all sorts of creatures. Since that early date, we have had a romantic link with the gardens. Now whenever we head to Birmingham, we will always make a diversion over to the gardens.

Walking through the peacock garden or taking a relaxing break by the side of the lake filled with water lily’s, there’s no other place which holds such strong connections for us and always reminds us both of those heady days of our first dates.

We’d jump off the plane, check our bags into https://www.excess-baggage.com/ so we were free to run into the city, then we’d head straight to the calm and the surreal world of the Botanical Gardens.

It happens to be one of Birmingham’s almost hidden secrets. You can drive straight past the entrance way and never know that it was there. The whole atmosphere and ethos of the gardens is to make the least amount of impact on their surroundings and this seems to have run out into their advertising.

If you’re anywhere near Birmingham, it is definitely worth a detour over to the Botanical Gardens and even a trip through the Bonsai rooms. You never know, you might just meet that someone special and start to make a life time’s worth of happy memories.

When you hear the name “Europe”, the first thing that comes to your mind is probably medieval architecture, Renaissance era paintings, statues, and artworks. Although, that’s not entirely Europe. Well, at least not the most northern part of it. Northern Europe is home to the Scandinavian countries. The countries with rich cultural and social history. The infamous Viking age marked the debut of these countries as prominent players in Europe. Though the culture changed significantly after the region’s conversion to Christianity. You are missing out greatly if you haven’t enjoyed the Nordic culture.

Kingdom of Norway

The way leading to the north is a scenic country. You may know Norway popularly by the Viking culture and the Northern lights. There is much more to the kingdom than just that. The vast lands encompass grand mountains, stark glaciers, and cavernous coastal fjords. The capital is Oslo, with luscious green spaces and old museums; the city is a delight to spend time in.

Here are the 5 Most Scenic Places in Norway you need to visit:

Bergen

Situated on the southwestern coast, Bergen is a beautiful city with magnificent views of the country and nature. You must visit Bergen for two major reasons; the Sognefjord, and the colorful wooden houses of Bryggen. The Sognefjord (meaning King of the Fjords) is the longest and deepest fjord in Norway. The multihued houses on the wharf of Bryggen chronicle the Hanseatic trading empire. There also are many hiking trails, museums, lake, and lively markets to keep you busy on your holiday.

Lillehammer

Your next stop should be the ski resort town: Lillehammer. The panoramic views, skiing, chairlifts, parks, and museums are enough for a full family vacation. There’s much to do in this tiny town. Moreover, if you are traveling with family, be sure to keep a monitoring app like the mSpy UK on your child’s cellphone in case he gets lost.

Tromso

Tromso is the most happening place in all of the north of the arctic circle. It is a top tourist spot and a cultural hub. It is famous for serving as a viewing point of the Aurora Borealis a.k.a the Northern lights. Also, the stained-glassed Arctic Cathedral is a sight of its own. The city is famous among tourists and has many museums, gardens, aquariums, hiking tracks, kayaking spots, and mountain views.

Lofoten Islands

The Lofoten archipelago is famous for the picturesque backdrop it provides. The islands are a great place to spend the summer. You can go biking around the islands passing through fishing villages and colorful homes on the waterfronts. The mountainous peaks encompass the islands and are a sight to behold. There are also many Viking and Fishing Museums. You can also find many wildlife and sea life around the islands.

Trondheim

Sitting on the Trondheim Fjord, Trondheim in central Norway is a dream destination for people in love with skylines. Probably the most famed attraction of the city is the 11th century Gothic Nidaros Cathedral. Which is built over the burial site of King Olav II. The cathedral has a beautiful rose window and an ornate façade that once had the sculptures of gargoyles (now in the nearby museum). The city also features beautifully colored homes, a botanical garden, a music museum, and much more.

How Numbers Rule Our Lives

$

It’s amazing how much a number can control your life. Just a couple of digits and we’re at their very mercy.

If you’ve ever forgotten you bank card pin when you’re stood waiting to pay for something, then you’ll know the dreaded feeling these four simple numbers can suddenly impose upon you.

Then there comes the moment when you are filling out the online form, you click on the age box and the drop down offers up the worst list in the history of man. You scroll and scroll until five minutes later, and you have found the year you were born.

Don’t even get me started about that number which comes up every time I step on the scales. Sometimes increases are great, but this one is never met with a cheer.

If numbers in our own personal lives weren’t bad enough, it seems that our work lives are now completely governed by numbers and specifically KPI’s.

Walking into a meeting and seeing your KPI’s up on the screen, with the world’s worst red highlighting all your issues. It makes life seem a little too harsh.

To be fair to the numbers, it’s not their fault, and I like to completely redress the balance and make numbers seem like a good thing in my life. It’s no the sole reason and to be fair, it’s not really a contributing reason at all for the reason that my Internet search history is filled with the words: best online casinos in United Kingdom,

You see, I like to play with some numbers. I like the uncertainty of gambling and the way that it is so diametrically opposed to my everyday life. Gambling is always a fight against the odds. It’s a battle to pull a win from the jaws of defeat and it’s all about taking a risk

When you see simple numbers flying around on the wheel of a Roulette table, and the ball lands on your favourite number. It’s at this point that you know that it’s not about odds, it’s not about the chances of winning, instead, it’s all about that hunch. The one that makes you hunt for the top casinos online to make the most out of your bet.

When you can start to play with the numbers and not be ruled by them, then you know that you are on holiday. When KPIs and YTD’s fall to the edge of your consciousness, then you know that you are having fun. It’s not about the stresses of the office, but about the chances of winning the office.

There are no patterns on a Roulette wheel. Each and every number is equally likely to be selected, we know this, we all know this. But we see patterns, we hunt for signs and we hot that we know better. It’s amazing how much hope we can place on a small white ball and a black and red coloured wheel.

Finding The Right Tyre

I had one of those drives the other morning. Nothing quite went right. It was like the day was doomed before I had even left the drive. By the end of the day, I had given up trying to get to work and was searching TyrePlus for new tyres.

You know those days which never get off to the best of starts; they are the one when you walk out of the front door and can immediately see a thick layer of ice. It was not just a covering, but it was that thick kind of ice which you know will not be a quick scrapping.

Ten minutes later and I can just about get into my car, the heater has not even got to lukewarm yet and the car is still freezing. The cold really does not help my mood as I realise that I am now going to be later for work.

I set off, knowing that I need to moving as soon as I possibly can. The road is a little busier than normal, but that’s purely because I have set off on the hour. I normally leave at 6:50 and the roads are empty. Today, I’m stuck in the crowd of people who leave at 7:00. It’s only ten minutes, but it is the knock-on effect of all the extra traffic.

Late I can handle, I’ll make it up over lunch and no-one will say anything. What I can’t handle is the foot-deep pothole in the road.

I was driving around a corner, cars on both sides of the road and then suddenly, right in line with my nearside wheel, is this meter-long crevasse in the road. I can’t avoid it and my tyre descends into the void before coming to a sudden stop on the front wall of the hole.

The noise in the car was huge and instantly told me that there was going to be serious damage to the tyre. I couldn’t believe it, why today?

I pulled over and could immediately hear the air coming out of a tear in the sidewall. My day was well and truly ruined. It took fifteen minutes to faff about and change the tyre, put the damaged on into the boot and then make sure I hadn’t left anything behind.

As I was only fifteen minutes from home, I sulked all the way home and decided to have a sick day instead of going in. I had had enough of the day and the sun wasn’t even up yet.

It was when I got home that I saw the range of tyres available to me. Each tyre had three different ratings, noise, economy and stopping ability. Now I do nearly a hundred miles a day, so I looked straight to the economy options. The more miles I can get on MPG, the less I’m paying for petrol.

I had no idea how many options there were, but finally I can choose the tyre which is right for the sort of journey’s I’m always doing.

Travelers – Motion Sickness

Motion sickness is a very common occurrence. Especially for first time travelers on planes and ships. It has been around for the longest time and is nothing to be ashamed of if you suffer from it. In fact there are more pressing things to worry about.

Like not being on the winners list at your popular casino sites such as bestunitedstatescasinos casino – best american online casino. The thing that makes motion sickness so bad is the fact that there is usually regurgitation of the previously consumed products. As much as most substances that exit the human body are gross. Vomit is among the top things on that list. This is probably because of the force of trajectory that the vomit has. Oh, and the horrible smells and disgusting appearance of partially digested food.

Most people now fear travelling by plane or ship because of this phenomenon. However, the people that operate these kinds of transport systems are trying to make life more bearable for people that suffer from motion sickness. In most airlines and ships first time travelers are given bags in which to throw up.  This very simple innovation has saved thousands of travelers from embarrassing themselves.

As technology keeps on progressing there are great improvements in the design of the airplanes and ships. Latest planes and ships are now built to resist the effects of the waves. Thus reducing the potential of suffering from motion sickness.  This is thanks to advancements in the materials used during construction and also the design techniques.

Now designers can design in 3D and then walk through their design using VR. And you thought the only profitable function of Virtual Reality is playing real money online casino games. Nevertheless, the future is Virtual Reality casinos which allow you to experience games in a new way. Visit cinemacasino online casino for an array of other popular games.

Alcohol, one thing that every holiday experience cannot go without. We are not promoting binge drinking, but alcohol does relax the body and mind. But travelling with a hangover especially by air or sea is absolute torture because of the motion sickness. So take it slow when drinking the night before your plane or boat ride.

As the largest island in the Mediterranean Sea, Sicily invites you to relax with its charming beaches and beautiful landscapes. A holiday in Sicily is definitely not boring.

Apart from the fantastic temperatures and the brilliant sunshine, the Italian island offers a great variety of activities, such as diving and volcano hikes. This is definitely a guide to decide where it’s best to stay in Sicily while on holiday!

Etna, The Great volcano

It is hard to imagine the extraordinary landscape of Sicily without the impressive volcanoes. The 3323-metre-high Etna volcano with its occasional snow-covered peaks is already visible from afar. Etna is the most active volcano in Europe. The last stronger eruption goes back to autumn 2013. You can reach a height of up to 200 metres by car. Passing by small villages you can see a wonderful variety of vegetation during the drive. Where the earth is covered with cooled lava, the first splendour of plants is already emerging again.

Arriving at the top station at 2000 metres, travellers have the opportunity to take a cable car up to 2500 metres. There, the area can be explored and marvelled at on foot. Those who travel to Sicily during the summer months can even discover the area up there with a Unimog at an altitude of 2800 metres up to the crater rim.

Sicily is a Paradise for Divers and Hikers

Many different activities can be undertaken on the Italian island. From fantastic beaches that will delight both active holidaymakers and families, to beautiful natural landscapes. Whether you are looking for an exciting outdoor adventure or fascinating city walks, this enchanting Italian Mediterranean island is the perfect place to spend your holiday.

The south-east and north coasts are very popular with surfers in particular because of the excellent wind conditions. The seaside resort of Taormina, on the other hand, is particularly suitable for diving enthusiasts. Active holidaymakers who prefer to experience the island on a walking or cycling tour are particularly recommended in the region around the Madonie mountains. However, areas around the Etna volcano or those around Palermo are no less worthwhile.

Sicily offers many Beautiful Places where to Swim

During a stay in Sicily, you should not miss the numerous breathtaking beaches and bays.

One of the most popular places with tourists is without doubt Taormina, situated to the north-east of the Etna volcano. Here you will find fantastic and unspoilt beaches and many interesting sights. Taormina is located directly between Catania and Messina on a rock about 300 metres above sea level.

The Island of Isola Bella

Not less worthwhile is a visit to the Ancient Theatre or the small offshore and protected island Isola Bella. Mondello, a small suburb of Palermo, is also recommended as a place where you can spend beautiful diving moments. In Mondello, you will find several fascinating bays and beaches. Many people love to come here to do different water sports or to forget the worries of everyday life in bright sunshine.

Idyllic Excursions in Charming San Vito Lo Capo

The small town of San Vito Lo Capo is located in the northwest of the island and is the ideal place to organize quiet and idyllic excursions. The town is primarily known for its white sandy beach and which is one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe.

Scopello: The Perfect Beach for a Short Break

Scopello is usually visited by the local population. This idyllic beach is probably one of the most beautiful of the whole Italian Mediterranean island. In addition, not many tourists have discovered this beach for themselves, which makes it rather deserted and perfect for a short break. Because of its green surroundings, it is particularly attractive for those seeking relaxation and nature lovers.

Cefalù and its Lemon Trees

In the province of Palermo, there is also the charming fishing town of Cefalù. It is particularly impressive with its picturesque sandy beaches, framed by fantastically scented lemon trees, olive groves, and famous vineyards. Cefalù is also an excellent starting point for exciting hiking and cycling tours.
